Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: High School Edition is a stage play set 19 years after the events of J.K. Rowling’s original Harry Potter series. Albus is sorted into Slytherin at Hogwarts, a decision that distances him from his famous father and creates tension in their relationship. As Albus grapples with his identity, he befriends Scorpius Malfoy, Draco Malfoy’s son. The pair embarks on a time-traveling adventure to right the wrongs of the past, leading to unintended and perilous consequences that threaten the fabric of time itself.
The play explores themes of legacy, identity, and the complexity of parent-child relationships. Albus and Scorpius’ journey through time reveals the ripple effects of their actions, highlighting the dangers and responsibilities that come with altering history.
