  • our desktop software applications

Licensing and Use of Services

Right On Cue Services provides musical backing tracks for theatrical productions.

Right On Cue Services does not grant performance rights or theatrical licenses. Performance rights must be obtained directly from the applicable licensing company or authorized licensing representative.

Tracks are provided only for productions that have obtained valid licensing rights from the appropriate licensing organization. Customers may be required to provide proof of a valid license before tracks are provided.

Customer information necessary to fulfill track orders may be provided to us directly by customers or by the licensing company or its authorized international sub-agents.

Licensing Verification Disclaimer

Right On Cue Services provides backing tracks only to verified productions with valid performance licenses obtained from the appropriate licensing company. While we verify the license information provided by licensing houses, sub-agents, or customers, ROCS does not assume responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of that information. Customers are ultimately responsible for ensuring that proper licensing rights are in place before using our tracks. By using our Services, you acknowledge that ROCS relies on licensing verification from third-party licensors and that failure to obtain or maintain valid licenses is the responsibility of the production’s organizers.

Data Controller

For purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Right On Cue Services is the Data Controller.

Personal Data We Collect

We collect limited personal data necessary for order processing, technical support, invoicing, and reconciliation.

  • Main Point of Contact Name (primary contact on the order)

We do not intentionally retain personal data relating to minors. If we are notified that personal data belongs to a minor, we delete it promptly.

  • Licensing Companies and Authorized Sub-Agents – in connection with licensed theatrical productions

Our desktop and mobile applications are designed to operate locally and do not collect personal information about users.

Applications do not collect:

Data Storage and Security

We use sub-processors and infrastructure providers to support operations, including order processing, support, invoicing, collaboration, and application hosting. Each provider processes personal data under a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR.

Our primary infrastructure and service providers include:

  • Pipedrive CRM – customer relationship management
  • Google Workspace – email, document management, collaboration
  • Cisco Webex – voice and video support
  • Zoom – online meetings and support calls
  • Slack – internal team communication
  • Dropbox – secure cloud storage of operational documents
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) – hosts application infrastructure

Infrastructure Logs

Application and cloud infrastructure logs may incidentally capture technical data (including IP addresses). These logs:

  • are retained 7–45 days on a rotating basis
  • are not processed for business or marketing purposes
  • are automatically purged

International Data Transfers

ROCS operates in the United States. Personal data may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.

Where required, we rely on safeguards implemented by service providers to ensure personal data remains protected in accordance with GDPR.

Children’s Privacy

ROCS Services are designed to support theatre organizations, educators, and performers, including students participating in productions. The Website provides resources such as user manuals and other informational content to help all users of ROCS tools.

We do not ask for and do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18 (“children”). With parental consent, children may download ROCS products through our Website or app store. They can access the tracks via their shared organizational access code. The ROCS Website and Applications do not require individual user accounts and do not collect personal information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other identifying details from users under the age of 18.

Limited technical information, such as anonymized IP address data, may be collected automatically for operational, security, and performance purposes. This information cannot be used to identify individual users.

ROCS products are not designed to collect or manage student education records protected under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 as defined by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).If we learn that personal information from a child under 18 or protected student information has been provided to us unintentionally, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information promptly.
