Updated: September 12th, 2025
Application: Show|Ready Android Only
Issue Summary: App Instability
- The show won’t load at all in the app.
- If the show loads, you can’t open it. You click on “Show” multiple times, and it keeps going back to the “My Shows” over and over. If you do it too often, it crashes.
- If the app crashes, you delete your cache and storage. Once you do that, you need to re-enter your codes.
- If the show does load, it can have some of the following issues:
- Tempo doesn’t match the measure and beat (the music goes too fast).
- There is a time delay when you hit play and pause.
- Sometimes the music won’t even pause, even when you quit the app.
- The top crowds the Android notification banner and clock.
- The transport button crowds the Android navigation buttons.
Status: RESOLVED
Our software development team is working to identify and fix the source of the issue. In the meantime, they have downgraded the Show|Ready Android app from version 1.39 to version 1.30 in the mobile store. This should fix most of the stability issues.
If you are using Show|Ready on Android and it isn’t working, please do the following to resolve:
- Uninstall the Show|Ready Android app (version 1.39).
- Reinstall the Show|Ready Android app (current version 1.30 available in the Google Play store).
- Input your viewer code to download your show.
