ABOUT
All Shook Up is a jukebox musical inspired by and featuring the songs of Elvis Presley. The story, set in 1955, follows a guitar-playing roustabout named Chad who arrives in a small, conservative Midwestern town. Chad’s arrival shakes up the town’s strict social order, especially when he introduces its residents to the excitement and freedom of rock ‘n’ roll music. The plot intertwines several romantic subplots and mistaken identities, all set against the backdrop of Presley’s iconic hits like “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Jailhouse Rock,” and, of course, “All Shook Up.”
The musical cleverly blends humor, romance, and classic rock ‘n’ roll, creating a high-energy and feel-good theatrical experience. Characters such as Natalie, a mechanic with dreams of adventure, and Dennis, her love-struck best friend, find themselves caught up in the chaos and transformation that Chad brings.
