The Bodyguard is now available for our Show|Ready rehearsal software and Stage|Tracks performance tracks. This musical is based on the 1992 film of the same name by The Empire Strikes Back screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan. Alexander Dinelaris wrote the book, with music and song arrangements by Chris Egan.
Set in the present day, Frank Farmer is a former Secret Service agent turned bodyguard. He accepts a job to protect superstar Rachel Marron from an unknown stalker. Each expects to be in charge. What they don’t expect is to fall in love. A breathtakingly romantic thriller and West End smash hit, the show features classic music by Whitney Houston. Some of these irresistible classics include “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” and one of the biggest-selling songs of all time: “I Will Always Love You.”
