REHEARSAL AND PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS ARE NOW AVAILABLE FOR JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT (MEGAMIX)

Show|Ready rehearsal software and Stage|Tracks performance tracks are now available for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Megamix).

Joseph and his 11 brothers live with their father, Jacob. Everybody knows that Joseph is the favorite son. But when Jacob gives him a beautiful, colorful coat, his brothers lose it. They sell him into slavery in a fit of jealousy. Joseph’s good heart and work ethic make him a ruler in his owner’s house, but a series of unfortunate events land him in prison. Still, Joseph stays hopeful. He is a dreamer – and God has shown him that one day he will rule over his brothers.

This revolutionary retelling of the story from the Book of Genesis has been performed over 20,000 times by schools, churches, and community theaters. It is one of the earliest collaborations between Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. With catchy tunes like “Go, Go, Go Joseph”, moving classics like “Close Every Door”, and a family friendly script that is suitable for all ages to perform, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is just as inspiring today as it was first performed in 1968. 50 years later, this beloved musical still speaks to the dreamer in all of us.
