Introducing Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (High School Edition)
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (High School Edition) is a ground-breaking play with music and sound effects (SFX) that’s sure to immerse you in the magical wizarding world! You can license this show through Broadway Licensing. When you get your license, you can choose between the music-only package or the SFX and music package to make your production even more magical.
Once you have purchased a license, you will be granted access to ROCS software that will include your music and sound effects. When it comes to your show production, you have two options:
Option 1: QLab Integration with ROCS|Cue
To better accommodate a wide range of productions, ROCS|Cue works with QLab to create an easy and powerful integration. You will need any paid version of QLab 4 or any paid version of QLab 5 to use this integration.
Option 2: ROCS|Cue Only
If you don’t have access to QLab, don’t worry! ROCS will provide a simple and free tool for the provided music and SFX functions. This is called ROCS|Cue.

Option 1: QLab Integration with ROCS|Cue
QLab is the industry-standard software for cue-based multimedia playback, essential for live performances like theater, dance, and various events. It provides precise control over audio, video, and lighting cues, allowing for intricate and synchronized multimedia presentations. Developed by Figure 53, QLab is celebrated for its flexibility and robust features, making it the preferred choice for designers and technicians in the performing arts industry. Available exclusively for Mac, QLab offers both a free version and a paid version with premium features. However, the paid version will be required to use the integration with ROCS products.

ROCS|Cue is a simple and free tool that allows you to cue music and SFX for your show production. It doesn’t have all of the functionality of QLab, but it’s a good choice if your options are limited. It will be available for Mac & PC. It is currently in development, so more information will be coming soon.
