BKLYN The Musical is a fantastic framed narrative about the City Weeds. The City Weeds is a group of five homeless musicians in New York City. From time to time, they transform a street corner under the Brooklyn Bridge into a stage to tell a story.
Once upon a time (as the story goes), a famous young Parisian came to America to search for the Father she never knew. Her only clue? Her name. Brooklyn. This play-within-a-play creates a show that is both touching and inspiring. It helps you come to see these street performers as the complicated humans that they are. It delivers the thrilling theatre experience you’ve come to expect, but on a whole new level.
