Calendar Girls is a musical adaptation of the 2003 film and the true story that inspired it, featuring music by Gary Barlow and a book by Tim Firth. Set in a small Yorkshire village, the story follows a group of middle-aged women from the local Women’s Institute who decide to create an unconventional fundraising calendar featuring tasteful nude portraits of themselves. Their goal is to raise money for leukemia research after one of their members loses her husband to the disease. What begins as a small-scale community project soon becomes a national sensation, challenging societal norms, testing friendships, and bringing unexpected fame to the women.
