ABOUT
Ghost the Musical: School Edition is a stage adaptation of the popular 1990 film Ghost, with music and lyrics by Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard and a script by Bruce Joel Rubin. It tells the story of Sam Wheat and Molly Jensen, a young couple whose happiness is shattered when Sam is killed during a robbery. After his death, Sam becomes a ghost who learns that Molly is still in danger. To protect her, he teams up with Oda Mae Brown, a psychic who can surprisingly hear him, to try and warn her before it’s too late.
Designed especially for younger performers, the School Edition keeps the heart of the story — a celebration of love, hope, and believing in what you can’t always see — while making the content appropriate for all audiences. With exciting stage effects, memorable songs, and touching moments, Ghost the Musical: School Edition offers a thrilling and heartfelt experience about the lasting power of love.
