ABOUT
Ghost the Musical is a stage adaptation of the iconic 1990 film Ghost, featuring a score by Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard, with a book by Bruce Joel Rubin, the film’s original screenwriter. The story follows Sam Wheat and Molly Jensen, a young couple deeply in love whose lives are shattered when Sam is murdered during a mugging. The musical blends romance, suspense, and humor with dynamic staging that incorporates impressive special effects to portray the spirit world. Central themes include love transcending death, unfinished business, and the power of belief. Iconic moments from the film, such as the famous pottery scene, are reimagined on stage, while new songs add emotional depth to the characters’ journeys.
