The same fantastic Prom music but with vocal sweetener! The sweetener is only for the chorus and is meant to supplement, not replace a live ensemble. The sweetener is intended for groups that may not have enough ensemble microphones, have a smaller cast, or just want to provide a little extra support to their ensemble.
ABOUT
The Prom is a lively and touching musical about a group of Broadway actors who decide to help a high school student named Emma. Emma faces a big problem in her small town in Indiana: she isn’t allowed to bring her girlfriend to the prom. The actors, looking to boost their own reputations, travel to the town to support Emma and make a statement about acceptance and equality. However, their plans don’t go as expected, and they find themselves facing many challenges.
Throughout the story, both the actors and the townspeople learn and grow. The actors, who started with selfish motives, begin to truly care about Emma and her fight for fairness. At the same time, the town’s residents start to see the value in being open-minded and kind to everyone. “The Prom” uses humor, heartfelt moments, and catchy songs to share a powerful message about understanding, community, and standing up for what is right. The musical shows that by working together and supporting each other, we can make a big difference in the world.
